Angharad Scourfield

Angharad joined the firm in June 2020 to head the Civil Litigation Department. 


Originally from Pembrokeshire, Angharad attended Pembroke School where she was Head Girl before graduating with an Upper Second-Class honours (2:1)in Law and a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course from Cardiff University.

Following this she joined Messrs Lewis Lewis & Co Ltd in St Clears to undertake her training contract qualifying in 2012. Angharad continued to practice there until last year when she was recruited to assist in expanding the Civil Litigation Practice at Welch & Co based in Cardigan. Angharad has joined us this year a Head of Civil Litigation.

Angharad accepts instructions in all matters of civil litigation including but not limited to:

  • Contentious Probate

  • Commercial Property Disputes
  • Residential Property Disputes
  • Personal Injury
  • Landlord & Tenant matters
  • Contract reviews and disputes
  • Building & Construction disputes
  • Consumer Disputes (from both supplier and consumer perspectives including drafting non contentious documents)
  • Shareholder/Partnership disputes

Angharad enjoys a wide variety of activities outside of work and plays rugby for the ladies’ division of Pembroke RFC and cricket for the ladies’ team of Cresselly Cricket Club. An ex member of South Pembs Young Farmers Club she also lends her support when needed and remains on the advisory committee. Angharad is also a keen stand up comedian and playwright being part of both the comedy collective Unpronounceable Comedy and the Eastend Flyover respectively.
